One Park Lane Construction Updates

Construction activity continued at a strong pace in the first quarter of 2025, with significant progress made across all blocks. Structural works advanced well, with several floors completed and the installation of key elements like columns, decking, and reinforcement ongoing. The site team focused on preparing upper-level slabs and core structures, positioning the development for further vertical growth in the next period. External works, including substation blockwork, also progressed, and planning feedback on sample panels was incorporated into design refinements.

Looking ahead, the next phase will see the completion of additional structural slabs and the installation of essential components like stairs and service connections.

The final quarter of 2024 saw consistent progress across the site, laying a solid foundation for the vertical build phase. Core structures reached advanced stages in multiple blocks, with key elements like basement slabs, retaining walls, and early-level slabs nearing completion. Infrastructure works, including drainage systems were successfully installed, keeping the site’s development on track.

This period also saw the continued rise of stair and lift cores, alongside the completion of essential basement-level works.

Works continued to advance steadily during this quarter, particularly with regard to the external façade. The steel framing system was completed during this period, signaling a major project milestone, while the curtain wall installation neared its final stages.

The internal works package continued to advance with partition installations, dry lining, plastering, and mechanical and electrical second fixes all key priorities. Kitchen and bathroom installations also commenced, moving the project closer to completion.

Fantastic progress was made to the external works package throughout this period as the steel frame and window glazing neared completion. The internal fit-out also commenced during this period as several critical works, including partition framing, internal boarding, and mechanical and electrical first fixes, got underway.

Several key elements were completed in the first quarter of 2024 including the steel frame, cabling to the internal trenches and deck slabs to level 15 of the building. Along with these significant milestones, key works such as curtain walling, glazing and mast climber installation continued to make steady progress.

Excellent progress was made in several key areas across the site during this period, including the installation of the steel frame which moved to level 14 of the building. Metal decking and the concrete pour progressed to level 13 while drainage works moved closer to completion. Internal blockwork commenced in November and will continue to progress into the new year.

Excellent visible progress was made at One Park Lane during Quarter Three, as the steel frame contractor continued with the installation of the structural steel frame, brackets to the reinforced concrete core, and placement of the decking packs.

Drainage works also continued to progress during this period and are expected to be close to completion before the year is out. Placement of mesh reinforcement and stud welding also commenced in August ahead of the concrete pour sequence to the upper floors.

The second quarter of the year saw the progression of the core wall up to level 15 and the commencement of drainage works at One Park Lane.

Several other important advances were made including the dismantling of the slip-form rig and the progression of groundworks to enable the ground floor slab pour in quarter three.

Site clearance and mobilisation commenced at the end of 2022 and continued over the first three months of 2023 to enable the progression of key construction works at One Park Lane.

During the first quarter of the year, several advances were made across the site such as the commencement of piling works which included pile integrity testing. Foundations were also poured, and the tower crane was mobilised, while core base reinforcement works began with slip-form installed and concrete pour commenced.
