Central Park Construction Updates

Nexus is proud to share excellent progress on both internal and external works. All external appearance nearing completion, with strong progress on all façades and Internal finishes are advancing with most clusters complete.

All key structural and block work—including the basement, bin store, switch room, and lift cores—are fully complete, marking major milestones for the project.

Strong momentum continues across Central Park with steady progress across both internal and external works. The development is visibly taking shape as key milestones are reached across all phases.

Externally, the building’s final form is emerging. Cladding is now complete on Phases 1 to 3 with Phase 4 progressing well. Brickwork, window installations and Juliette balcony balustrades are all advancing, contributing to the defined and finished appearance of the façade.

Internally, fit-out activity continues to build pace. In Phase 1, many apartments are now at an advanced stage with kitchens installed and final finishes such as flooring, tiling and decoration underway. Phases 2 and 3 are following closely behind with internal layout works progressing and initial fit-out starting across several levels. Remaining structural works are also being completed to enable continued progress throughout the building.

Preparations for power-on and commissioning of key systems are also underway — a critical step in moving the development closer to completion.

Central Park continued to progress strongly this quarter, with cladding now complete on Phases 1 to 3 and advancing well on Phase 4. Brickwork, windows, and Juliette balcony balustrades have further defined the façade, as the development nears its external completion.

Internally, fit-out works have accelerated across all phases. In Phase 1, many apartments are now at final finishes, while Phases 2 and 3 follow closely behind. Key infrastructure is now in place, and preparations for power-on and commissioning are underway, a major step toward completion.

Significant progress was made this quarter with Phase 3 window installations completed and Phase 4 now underway. External wall insulation is largely complete, while roofing, balustrades and terrace works continue steadily.

Key mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are being installed as pre-fit-out works continue to advance. Partition walls and ceilings are also moving forward, with fit-out works underway on several floors.

Internal and external works have progressed across the board following a productive quarter. Phase 3 metal decking and concrete pours were completed, with window and cladding installations advancing steadily. Gantry scaffolding and Phase 3 intumescent painting were also finalised.

Internally, essential pre-fit-out works such as MVHR ducting, sprinkler piping, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing were priorities for the site team. Key advancements were also made to the steel framing system, partition wall beams, internal ceilings and partitions.

Following a productive period for the site team, the completion of all four phases of steelwork marked a significant project milestone. Intumescent painting, SFS installation, and weatherboarding advanced to the halfway point, alongside external wall insulation, brickwork and window installation.

Internally, metal deck flooring and concrete pours have advanced significantly, while pre-fit-out mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works began in preparation for the interior works package.

In Q2, the completion of the basement level slab was a key milestone at Central Park, alongside the commencement of the building’s steel frame. The site team is now focusing on the progression of the steel frame erection following a fantastic start. The installation of metal decking, floor slab concrete pouring, and pre-cast stair installation also progressed steadily.

This period brought the commencement of ground floor concrete slab works and continuation of final pile cap installation in a busy start to the year for the site team. The basement dig-out and retaining walls are among the works to be completed in the next quarter.

Over the course of October and November, the piling mat was completed and on-site piling commenced. This is a significant milestone in terms of the progression of all other works at Central Park.

In Quarter Three, further progress was made by the team at Central Park as site clearance continued in preparation for on-site piling. This included breaking ground along with the preparation and construction of the piling mat.

In September, the jaw crusher was delivered to enable the installation of the piling mat, before the piling mat was then constructed in preparation for the piling rig.

Several important progressions were made during this period in terms of procurement and design, which enabled site mobilisation to commence. Stage 4 design was completed in June, as well as a comprehensive CCTV survey.

A dilapidation survey for the site’s neighbouring Network Rail tunnel was also completed in Quarter Two, while drainage diversion works continued to progress significantly.
